Project Overview

This project empowers local communities by enhancing sustainable livelihoods, promoting climate-resilient practices, and strengthening institutional and community governance. It targets women and youth, improving their economic opportunities while building local capacities for long-term sustainability.

Objectives

• Strengthen sustainable livelihood opportunities for women and youth
• Develop agribusiness and financial planning skills
• Facilitate access to microgrants and small-scale financing
• Enhance employability through vocational and market-driven training
• Promote climate-smart and adaptive agricultural practices
• Build institutional capacity and support inclusive climate governance

• Training Programs: Agribusiness, financial planning, vocational, and agro-vocational courses with participation support
• Microgrant Support: Facilitate access to grants and provide post-grant coaching
• Apprenticeships: Placement with private sector partners to gain hands-on experience
• Job Fairs: Organize large-scale local events linking job seekers with employers
• Adaptive Agriculture: Implement pilot projects and provide technical guidance
• Institutional & Community Capacity Building: Train CSOs, government staff, women, and youth on climate risk planning and governance
• Monitoring & Reporting: Monthly tracking of outcomes, supported by intake tools and activity documentation
